2016 In-House Creative Services Industry Report: Highlights & Download
If you haven't checked out this year's In-House Creative Services Industry Report from Cella consulting - this year's looks to be he most comprehensive report since the first in 2010 / 2011.
One thing that really stood out to us was more specific mentions of Creative Operations as a dedicated role / practice within enterprise organizations. Yes! Finally! Hopefully, we'll see even more coverage on technology, processes, and challenges for Creative Operations Leaders in future reports to help you benchmark and track your own progress and maturity within creative ops.
A few other stats that stuck out for us:
- 64% of Creative Leaders indicated they do not have enough to adequately coach and develop their team
- A near 50 / 50 split on creative leaders being asked or required to provide a cost comparison between in-house teams & external agencies
- 70% of non-personnel budget is spent on software
- Only 46% of organizations have a dedicated Creative Operations role (78% of depts. with 30+ team members have dedicated Creative Ops)
